Money Hacks for the Ecommerce Seller

We spend a lot of time, and hard work building our business. So let’s keep as much of the profits as we can. Here are a few easy hacks every ecommerce seller can do, to keep more in your pocket.

2.      Save on your subscriptions

Here is another hack to save on your subscriptions. Most subscriptions offer a pay by month or pay yearly option. Most of the time, when you pay yearly, you save around 30%. Check out your subscriptions to see.

3.      Lifestyle Images

We all need plenty of lifestyle images for our products. They help our listing convert, we use them for posts, ads, and marketing. We all know the problem, lifestyle images are very expensive. Here is a little hack to get lifestyle images for under $5 each.

Adobe stock photos, has thousands of amazing photos you can stick your product in to. They charge $29.99 a month, and you get 10 free stock photos a month. You don’t have to use all 10 every month, they roll over. So that’s $2.99 per photo. Check them out here.

Keep in mind, when looking for a stock photo, the stock photo doesn’t have to be perfect as is, you can send it to the photo editor and ask them to change some colors, remove or add some products, move things over, all for just a few dollars, you can play around with the photo.

4. Amazon FBA Refund Auditing & Reimbursements

For those selling on amazon, this is a no brainer. If you are not using one of these tools, you are leaving money on the table.

Amazon FBA warehouses have thousands of products coming in and out every hour. Your products come in to one FBA warehouse, and are then sent out all around the USA to other FBA warehouses. In all the movement, it is normal for products to get lost or damaged. Amazon refunds you for all the products they lose or damage. The problem is, sometimes amazons system does not pick up on all the products they lost or damaged, and then you do not get a refund. In comes FBA Refund companies, they do a monthly audit on your amazon inventory, they find any discrepancies, and they file a claim for you. You do nothing, you just link your account to their platform, and they do the rest. There is no subscription fee, they charge 25% of the refunds they recover. So if they do not recover anything, you don’t pay anything, and whatever they recover, was money you left on the table, now you will get 75% of it.

5.      Credit Cards – Use the Right One

We are all spending a lot of money on our business, advertising, subscriptions, shipping, importing, and more.
